Red Panda

We took advantage of the nice weather this weekend with a trip to the Knoxville Zoo. The Red Panda exhibit is one of my favorites. I like it because we can go in the enclosure with the animals. Notice there is no wire between this little guy and my camera.

He looks more like a stuffed toy then a live animal. The zoo keeper told us all the panda's were hand raised. Posted by Picasa

Connie, Believe it or not, I lived in Knoxville (Fountain City) back in the late '60's. My first hubby was from Knoxville. I taught school for 7 yrs. at West High School..

Anyhow--that was the last time I have been to the Knoxville Zoo... Great memories!!!
Hugs,
Betsy

I live in Powell, but work in Knoxville. I grew up in Powell, but when my parents got older they moved to Fountain City. Next time you're coming to Knoxville let me know, maybe we can get togehter and have lunch, or something.

MONDAY---Your comments are not working on your new post...

Happy Groundhog Day, Connie.. We have a winter wonderland on the plateau too this morning. The birds are eating and eating and eating.. I guess we'll have 6 more weeks -at least--of winter!!!!

Hope you get a nice snow in Knoxville today. It's SO pretty.

Hugs,
Betsy
