Bear near camp

There are several cameras mounted on the deer lease property in Lafollette. It's really neat to see what wild animals visit our camp while we're away. This bear has been leaving paw prints everywhere in the area. Now we have a photo to go with the paw prints. I'm glad he's shy and doesn't come around except when the humans are gone.

Glad he keeps his distance, Connie... As much as George and I have hiked, we have seldom run into bears along the trails. We are careful though. You be careful also. Okay?
Hugs,
Betsy

Whoa! That guy is big! He looks like the bear in my cousin's yard estimated to weigh around 400 lbs. Very cool...
