We try to get to the cabin at least twice a month, usually on Wednesdays. A walk in the woods is nice before we start up the grill. I think Mark is actually scouting for deer sign that might come in handy when deer season opens. I prefer my deer in the woods instead of in my freezer.

I like your post. I like the place where deer live. I like to walk in the woods and try to walk up to within spitting distance of a deer or a herd of deer. I have done it more than once but it was when I was young and healthy.
Hi Connie, I know how much you all do enjoy getting out in the woods and to the cabin. Hope you can do it more often!!!! Deer season will be here before we know it!

What I'd give to be able to take a walk through the woods in the fall, with the leaves crunching underneath my feet. Enjoy the fall!!
