After the Rains

This is not a pond, or even part of the creek, it's a puddle after the rains. We usually walk on dry land here. The house is not far from here, and Pepper sees no reason to make a detour from her usual route.

Dirty Dog

After several days of rain we let the dogs out for some outside time. They discovered rain makes mud, and mud makes for a fun day outdoors.

Of course after a mud bath comes a get clean again bath.

Normally these guys would have long hair. But my husband is in charge of taking them to the groomer and he always tells her to give them a "military cut". I think they like it.
