Mom with her oldest remaining sister Chris.
Every so often Mom and I will take a day to visit with with family members. Originally there were eleven siblings, now there are four girls left, including Mom. It's sad, so many wonderful aunts and uncles are no longer with us.

Yes, we're always saddened to see empty chairs around our family table, but it would have been far sadder had there been no one ever sitting in them at all.
Donna you're right, it is sad so many loved ones are gone, but they left a piece of themselves behind with everyone whose lives they touched. Thank you for reminding me of that.
